Cultural Experience

Through a cultural experience program, we invited the Pimpongcao Theatre Troupe to teach at our school. After the director joined our class, we warmed up with drama games. Each game helped sharpen our awareness of the environment and one another, while also training our observation, quick reactions, and concentration. The activities also strengthened our trust in our partners. That was when we realized these abilities are closely connected to stage performance.

As we played the games again and again, we found that our bodies became more open, our voices grew louder and clearer, and we were more willing to show a different side of ourselves in front of our classmates. Some games were especially fun, focusing on communication and instant responses. We also learned that even the same sentence can create completely different effects depending on the tone and the way it is said.

Overall, the course was both enjoyable and meaningful. We learned a lot through laughter. Thank you to the troupe for bringing us a fresh perspective and turning our busy, sometimes dull junior high school life into a class we truly looked forward to.
