Artistic Director
Mr. Zhou, the troupe's Artistic Director, is one of its key pillars—and he is also Director "Kuozi"'s husband. From the very beginning, he has been a constant source of support. Whether it is stage equipment, administrative logistics, or the many tasks on performance day, his presence is almost always part of the troupe's work.

In the early years, transportation in Shengang was not convenient. During rehearsal periods, Mr. Zhou often drove for over an hour to pick up directors and actors from Changhua Railway Station. With few shops nearby, he also took care of meals for the team so rehearsals could run smoothly.
On performance days, Mr. Zhou is usually the first to arrive. He helps with prop transport and setup, lighting and sound, stage management, and quick problem-solving when unexpected situations happen. His car often becomes the prop vehicle, and his workspace is filled with equipment waiting to be organized and repaired—quietly supporting every production behind the scenes.
Before each show, he checks the schedule and details step by step to make sure every part is in place. During the performance, he watches closely—tracking what is happening on stage and how the audience responds—ready to make necessary adjustments. Afterward, he gathers the team for a careful review, pointing out what went well and what can be improved. Since performances are often scheduled back-to-back, his patient guidance helps the troupe become steadier over time, reduce mistakes, and polish the overall quality—earning more and more applause.
Because Mr. Zhou consistently supports the troupe from behind the scenes, Director Kuozi can focus on creation and leadership with fewer worries. Their strong teamwork and clear division of roles have become one of the troupe's keys to long-term growth. The applause belongs to the stage, but he protects every detail behind it.
