David Landsborough III Performed for Disadvantaged Children

The Cultural Affairs Bureau commissioned Ms. Kuo Yueh-mei, leader of Pingpengcao Children's Theatre, to coordinate the performance project David Landsborough III in Changhua. Pingpengcao Children's Theatre and the Nanguan Experimental Ensemble jointly presented this production. The play combines the moving stories of two generations of Dr. Landsborough with elements of traditional Nanguan music and opera, creating new energy on the modern stage. Based on the theme of compassionate medical care, the production brought together different artistic teams and blended Nanguan elements into modern theater. In this way, an important local medical story from Changhua and Taiwan was shared with a wider audience in a meaningful way.
